About BahirTube

BahirTube is a global video discovery platform — a calm, beautifully organized ocean of movies, shorts, documentaries, learning and culture gathered from the world's open and licensed sources. "Bahir" means sea in Amharic; the name reflects our identity: Born in Ethiopia, built for the world.

How BahirTube works

We are an aggregation & discovery service. BahirTube does not host or own third-party videos: content is surfaced through official provider APIs (YouTube Data API, Vimeo, Dailymotion, PeerTube instances, Internet Archive, Wikimedia Commons, Pexels, Pixabay) and played through each platform's official embeddable player or openly-licensed direct streams. Rights information is preserved wherever a source provides it — public domain and Creative Commons material is clearly badged.
