BahirTube is privacy-conscious by design (last updated September 2026).

What we collect

A random anonymous cookie identifier for history/list features, aggregate page events (views, opens, device type class), and search terms to improve discovery. We do not store raw IP addresses — only salted hashes used for abuse throttling.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your name, username, email and a secure password hash (PHP password_hash). You can request deletion at any time via contact.

Third parties

Videos play from provider platforms under their own privacy terms once you interact with their players.
